This is the application for the Claud L Austin Lodge Scholarship that is open to all graduating seniors in the Performing Arts Department. These generous gentlemen, in association with the Scottish Rite organization,, are offering FIVE (5) scholarships of $3,000 to students in our department!
This application is due, in a single itemized PDF document, on February 1st (a Saturday night). It must be emailed to the address by midnight on February 1st!
The applicants will all be interviewed in the choir room on Saturday, Feb 8th!!!
The application is fairly extensive, and requires letters of recommendation (NOT Ms. Pavageau or Ms. Dickerson), so I would recommend getting started on this immediately! There are, in addition to these scholarships, several other scholarship programs that will accept the exact same application, so chances are very good for everyone!!!
These scholarships are not purely academically based. These men want to honor and award students who are well rounded and active in several organizations, and are particularly impressed with students involved in theatre and choir and the other performing arts!
Please take these applications seriously. This is not that much work for the possibility of being handed a check for $3,000.
